Horsewood Testing and Quality: FDA Registration, GMP and Lab Proof

The Horsewood label says manufactured in an FDA registered facility and assembled in the USA. Registration puts a factory on FDA's list; it is not approval, and FDA approves no supplements. No GMP auditor, maker, lab report or hidden-drug screen is public, and the lot and CoA codes are draft labels.
What quality claims does Horsewood make?
The Horsewood label makes two quality claims: manufactured in an FDA registered facility, and assembled in the USA. The brand's materials add a money-back seal.
Not one of the three is a lab result. Each covers a narrow point, and the table marks where each one ends.
FDA registered facility: about the factory, not the formula
Money-back seal: a refund promise, not a test
| Claim | Printed where | What it leaves out |
|---|---|---|
| Manufactured in an FDA registered facility | Label | Any FDA approval, and the factory's name |
| Assembled in the USA | Label | Where the ingredients come from |
| Made in USA | Sales site only | Any backing from the label |
| Money-back seal | Brand materials | Anything about purity or results |
Is Horsewood FDA approved?
No. FDA lacks the authority to approve any dietary supplement for safety or effectiveness before sale, Horsewood included (FDA, 2022).
A 1994 law treats supplements as a special category of food rather than as drugs (FDA, 2015). The company selling one carries responsibility for its safety and its label.
| Wording | Real meaning |
|---|---|
| FDA approved | Never accurate for a supplement like this |
| Manufactured in an FDA registered facility | The factory is on FDA's list; nothing was approved |
| FDA registration certificate | Not something FDA issues |
| Not evaluated by the FDA | FDA did not review the claims before sale |
What does the FDA registered facility line on Horsewood mean?
It means the plant that made Horsewood is registered with FDA as a food facility. It speaks to a building, not to the capsules, and the label leaves the building unnamed.
FDA issues no certificates of registration and does not recognize ones sold by private firms (FDA, 2024). An official-looking badge, then, is not an FDA seal.
What does the FDA statement on the Horsewood label mean?
It says FDA has not evaluated the Horsewood claims. It also says the product is not meant to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.
Supplements can make claims about body function, but FDA does not clear them in advance; they must be truthful and must carry that statement (FDA, 2024).
| Sales claim | How to read it |
|---|---|
| Support for healthy blood flow & male response | A support claim with no measured result |
| Natural support for libido & desire | Support wording, not a guarantee |
| Mental clarity that follows physical confidence | Ad copy with no test behind it |
The law keeps these claims small on purpose. Horsewood is no treatment for erectile dysfunction, low testosterone or any prostate condition.
Is Horsewood made in a GMP facility?
Nothing on the Horsewood label says so: no GMP seal, no named auditor. GMP means good manufacturing practice, the rules for making, packing and labeling supplements in a clean, consistent way.
With no auditor or certificate named, nobody outside the company can verify a GMP claim. Ask the order desk.
What to ask about any GMP claim
- Which company produced this batch, and at which plant?
- Which outside body audited that plant, and in what year?
- Will the seller send a copy of the audit certificate?
- Is there a batch lab report that names the lab?
Today, not one of those answers is public.
Is Horsewood third-party tested?
Not that anyone can show. No outside lab report on Horsewood has been released; the lot reference HOR-26/HO-6606 and CoA reference HOR-6606-26-HO are draft labels, not lab proof.
So there is no public record of what a capsule contains or what it is free of.

| Record | Status |
|---|---|
| Outside lab report | Not published |
| Name of the lab | Not published |
| Heavy-metal results | Not published |
| Hidden-drug screen | Not published |
| Manufacturer | Not published |
| Study of the finished blend | Not published |

Why does testing matter for a product like Horsewood?
Because sexual enhancement supplements have a track record of hidden drugs and contamination. Only a batch lab report, made public, can clear a given batch.
No FDA tainted-product notice names Horsewood as of October 13, 2026. The cards below describe the whole category, and a clean record is not proof of safety.
Hidden drugs
FDA has found undeclared prescription drugs in many sexual enhancement products sold as supplements (FDA, 2026).
Nitrate danger
In one such product, FDA found hidden sildenafil and tadalafil and warned they can crash blood pressure when mixed with nitrates (FDA, 2023).
Tongkat purity
Some tongkat ali products have contained lead, mercury or hidden sildenafil (OPSS (DoD), 2023).
Tongkat ali products vary in strength and purity, with no common standard (NIDDK LiverTox, 2024). Horsewood does not say what its 100:1 extract is standardized to.
What do USP and NSF seals mean, and does Horsewood have one?
Horsewood has neither seal. USP and NSF run independent programs that check whether a product actually holds what its label lists.
A genuine seal still has limits: it confirms the label is accurate, not that the product is safe or effective (NIH ODS, 2023).
The listed ingredients are in the bottle, at the listed amounts.
Look the product up on the program's own site.
Whether the product is safe for you or lives up to its ad.
What does Horsewood publish, and what does it leave out?
Horsewood prints a full label with every amount, but it releases none of the evidence behind it. Each blank below is a question for the seller.
Missing evidence is not the same as danger. It means you cannot see the proof.
| Public | Not public |
|---|---|
| Seven ingredients with amounts | Elemental boron inside the 20 mg chelate |
| Serving of 2 capsules, 30 servings | Icariin in the horny goat weed extract |
| Other ingredients, gelatin included | The tongkat ali standardization |
| Caution, storage and seal text | Who manufactures it |
| Distributor: Horsewood, Largo, FL | Any outside lab report or hidden-drug screen |
| Label revision REV 11/25 | Any clinical study of the finished blend |
Every printed line gets explained on the supplement facts page.
How can you check Horsewood quality yourself?
At home you can confirm the seller, the label and the seal on your Horsewood bottle. What a capsule actually contains takes a lab.
Put these questions to the order desk before you buy, and give your doctor or pharmacist the full label.

Horsewood quality and testing: common questions
Questions people type into Google and Bing, answered from the label and the sources on this page.
Is Horsewood third-party tested?
Not in any way you can see. No outside lab report has been released, and the lot and CoA codes in the seller's materials are drafts, not results.
Is Horsewood made in a GMP facility?
The label carries no GMP seal and names no GMP auditor. What it does say is manufactured in an FDA registered facility, which is a separate claim.
Does Horsewood test for heavy metals?
No heavy-metal results are public. That gap matters with tongkat ali, because some tongkat products have turned up with lead or mercury.
Does Horsewood have a USP or NSF seal?
No. Neither seal is on the label, and even where they appear they confirm label accuracy, not safety or results.
Who manufactures Horsewood?
The maker is not named. The label says the product is distributed for Horsewood of Largo, Florida, and assembled in the USA.
Is Horsewood made in the USA?
The label says Assembled in the USA; the sales site says Made in USA. Assembled is the smaller claim, and ingredient origin is not published.
Can male enhancement pills contain hidden drugs?
Yes. FDA has found undeclared prescription drugs, including sildenafil and tadalafil, in many sexual enhancement products sold as supplements.
What does FDA registered facility really mean?
The factory is on FDA's list of food facilities. FDA has not approved that factory, the formula or any claim because of it.
Does FDA hand out registration certificates to supplement factories?
No. FDA says it issues no registration certificates and does not recognize the ones private companies sell.
